Marc Balligand, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduated from the University of Liège, is a specialist in orthopedic surgery in small pets (EBVS). He is currently Full Professor for small pets in the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and head of the Department of Surgery for Small Pets of the Veterinary Clinic at the University of Liège. Marc Balligand held the position of President of the European College of Veterinary Surgery (ECVS, 2000) and currently chairs the European Society of Veterinary Orthopedics and Traumatology (ESVOT). After two years (2017 and 2018) as a Visiting Professor at the AO Research Institute in Davos (Switzerland), he continues his research focused on the biomechanics of joints and bones in dogs and cats suffering from osteoarticular diseases.

PR. Olivier Gauthier

DVM, PhD

 

Olivier Gauthier, Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, graduated from Oniris - Nantes - Atlantic College of Veterinary Medicine, is Full Professor of small animal Surgery and Dentistry in the Department of Clinical Sciences of Oniris. He also carries out research activities at the University of Nantes, in the field of bone and joint tissue patho-physiology, with particular attention to the link between fundamental research and clinical applications.

DR. Guillaume Ragetly

DVM, PhD, Dipl. ACVS, Dipl. ECVS

 

Guillaume Ragetly, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduated from the Toulouse Veterinary School, is a specialist in orthopedic surgery in small pets (ECVS and ACVS). He is currently the head of the orthopedic service at the Frégis Veterinary Hospital Center and is particularly interested in joint surgery, minimally invasive orthopedic surgeries and clinical applications of biomaterials, which was his research area for his PhD.

DR. Ulrich Rytz

DVM, Dipl. EBVS, Dipl. ECVS

 

Ulrich Rytz, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduated from the University of Bern, is Associate Professor in the Department of Small Animal Surgery at the University of Bern. He is a specialist in veterinary surgery (ECVS) but also a member of the Swiss Veterinary Society (GST), the Swiss Veterinary Society of Small Animals (SVK), the Veterinary Orthopedic Society (VDS) as well as the European Society of Veterinary Orthopedics and Traumatology (ESVOT). Ulrich Rytz is also an instructor and advisor at the AO Institute in Davos (Switzerland).
